I hereby voluntarily submit my
application for attendance and participation in the Order of the Dragon
Championship Tournament. I understand
that this is a contact karate tournament and understand that physical
injuries can occur. I agree to conduct
myself in accordance with the rules of this tournament. I hereby assume full responsibility for any
and all damages, injuries, and losses that I may sustain or incur, if any,
while attending or participating in said tournament and waive all claims
against the promoters, operators, sponsors, volunteers and the North
Bakersfield Recreation and Parks Department, individually or otherwise for
same. Any photos taken in OTD classes or tournaments
are the sole property of OTD, and may be posted on the school website, may be
used in marketing or any advertising. The following safety gear is mandatory in order to spar. Head Gear,
Hand Pads that covers the fingers, footpads
that cover the toes, groin cup for males and mouthpieces. No exceptions!!!!! You will not spar and will not get a refund
if you do not have the proper safety gear.
Worn out gear may not be used. Gear will be available for purchase at the
tournament. Promoter
reserves the right to combine or eliminate divisions based on participation. Promoter
reserves the right to refuse service/entry to anyone. IT IS EACH COMPETITORS
RESPONSIBILITY TO SHOW UP FOR THEIR RING ASSIGNMENTS WHEN CALLED! IF YOU DON'T SHOW UP, REGARDLESS
OF REASON, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND. IF YOU FAIL TO PARTICIPATE FEES
PAID WILL NOT CARRY OVER TO FUTURE TOURNAMENTS TOURNAMENT FEES ARE
NONTRANSFERABLE AND CANNOT BE SOLD TO OTHERS. Poor Sportsmanship on either
the part of the competitor or a parent will lead to automatic
disqualification. Sideline coaching in any form
will lead to automatic disqualification. NO REFUNDS.
